The Course says “When we fail to see through God’s eyes, we feel as though we are under constant attack. The world we see starts to help justify the fearful nature of the self-image we made. When we remember who we are, we can let this image of ourselves go.”

“We make up the prison in which live. All we need do is recognize this and we are free. When we see the world as a place of freedom, we realize that it reflects the laws of God instead of the rules we made up for it to obey.”

“It is not [our] own strength through which I forgive. It is through the strength of God in me, which I am remembering as I forgive.”
“How safe the world will look to me when I can see it! It will not look anything like what I imagine I see now. Everyone and everything I see will lean toward me to bless me.”
